Administration
Dr. Kelli Trenga
Dr. Trenga is the Director of PENNCREST Cyber Academy. She previously taught various levels of elementary education for over 15 years, with a heavy emphasis on literacy instruction and special education. During that time, Dr. Trenga was honored with the Crawford County’s Educator of the Year award. She holds degrees in Elementary and Special Education, and Curriculum and Instruction from Mercyhurst University and Gannon University, respectfully. Her passion for education drove her to pursue her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. Her dissertation was a Phenomenological Study of Dental Professionals' Preparedness to Manage the Behaviors of Patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder during Dental Treatment. In addition to professional pursuits, Dr. Trenga serves on local boards for the United Way of Western Crawford County, Child to Family to Connections, Meadville Travel Baseball Club, and Meadville Little Gridders. She resides in Meadville, Pa. with her husband and two sons.

Mrs. Lisa Brocklehurst
Mrs. Brocklehurst has 27 years of teaching experience with an elementary and special education background. She is a mother to two daughters and has 3 beautiful grandchildren. She enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband to visit new places and meet new people. She also loves to spend time with her family and have cookouts. She feels the greatest part about teaching is watching her students grow and learn as much as they can while helping them along the way.
Mrs. Patty Hovis
Mrs. Patty Hovis has been teaching for 33 years in Penncrest School District. She has taught grades 4 and 6 and special education for grades 7-12. Mrs. Hovis is married. She has one son, a daughter, and one grandson. She is an animal lover and lives on a farm in the country with 5 horses, 2 dogs, and a cat.

Mrs. Dee Henry
History & English Language Arts Electives
Dee Henry joins PCA teaching Social Studies 7-12. She brings over 16 years of teaching experience in PENNCREST in the areas of English, Social Studies, and Elementary School. She especially loves learning about history and applying that knowledge to guide students as they look forward to their futures. Mrs. Henry loves to travel and learn about our world; it provides opportunities to bring those experiences back to the classroom to share with her students. While not in the classroom, she is most likely enjoying the outdoors with her husband and dogs.
Mrs. Theresa Douglas
English Language Arts
Mrs. Douglas has taught in the PENNCREST School District for 32 years. She has taught academic and honors English 7th-12th, AP Literature and Composition, AP Language and Composition, and Reading K-12th. She is a certified Reading Specialist and holds certificates in Family and Consumer Science and Safety Education.
Mrs. Melissa Statman

Mathematics & Science
Mrs. Statman has been with PENNCREST School district for 18 years. She has taught physics, chemistry, forensic science, computer science, middle school science, and STEM engineering while at Saegertown High School. She spent three years as a Classrooms for the Future Technology Integration Coach in the Maplewood Attendance Area. She began teaching with PENNCREST Cyber Academy in 2019. Mrs. Statman has a BA from Texas Tech University and an M. Ed from Gannon University.
Adjunct Teachers
Mr. Justin Grubbs
Mr. Grubbs is in his 22nd year of teaching, with 18 years of experience at CSHS. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Grove City College, a Masters degree in Education from Gannon University, and a Principal's certification from Edinboro University. He is married with 2 children, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. During his teaching career, he has also had the pleasure of coaching football for 22 years, boys basketball for 1 year, and girls basketball for 4 years, along with numerous youth sports.
Mr. Matthew McClellan
Mr. McClellan is the lifetime fitness instructor for PCA. He has been teaching health and physical education at Penncrest for 13 years where he has spent time at all three schools within our district. Besides teaching, he has been coaching cross country for 16 years. His life is solely based around health and wellness as he enjoys outdoor activities that include triathlons, running, mountain biking, hunting, and any other adventurous activities. He looks forward to growing your health and wellness this year through lifetime fitness.
